of gin has of late risen considerably, Mesare. Celdbook 463

Macgregor and Company informed me that to their regular customers

they could supply gin at $20 a case, a price below that ruling

elsewhere. I telephoned asking them to send round six bottles

to the office, and I took them back to my house in a chair. In

reviewing the incident it sccurs to me that, had I intended to

drisk this gin in the office, I would hardly have had six bottles

I may answer the general inference of your letter
